Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships is committed to providing high-quality service to all students and explores all possible financial aid resources with students. For the 2023-24 academic year, Ohio University disbursed nearly $277 million in financial aid to almost 19,000 undergraduate students, including $84.2 million in institutional aid. Nearly $30 million in scholarships was awarded to admitted freshmen; 82% of OHIO undergraduate students received some form of financial assistance.

Additionally, the office manages the awarding of OHIO’s merit-based and need-based scholarships, and monitors renewability criteria in order to uphold the University’s commitment to supporting students from admission through graduation and beyond.
