Stage Management Minor

Stage Management Minor

The Stage Management minor provides students with a comprehensive foundation in the art of stage management, blending classroom instruction with practical experience. Students develop essential skills in leadership, organization, and collaboration by managing productions within the School of Theater. This minor prepares students for careers in theater and related fields that require strong communication and management abilities.

Admission Requirements

Freshman and sophomore students are eligible to apply. To declare the Stage Management minor, students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and complete an interview with the Head of BFA Stage Management in the School of Theater.

Curriculum

The Stage Management minor requires a minimum of 21 credit hours. Coursework covers key aspects of stage management, including leadership, production coordination, and technical theater fundamentals. Students gain hands-on experience through production assignments.
