Athens Campus Directions & Parking

Transportation to Athens, Ohio

To plan your visit, take a look at  these driving directions and information about public transportation from various parts of Ohio and West Virginia to Athens, OH.

Parking

Public parking is available in the Baker University Center Parking Garage, a half-block from Alden Library.

Parking meters are available throughout campus and the city. Meters are usually limited to 2 hours.

Other campus parking lots (marked purple and dark green on their signage) are available after 5 PM.  Individuals must park within a regular non-metered, non-restricted space within the lot.

City Parking

The City of Athens has a public parking garage about two blocks north of Alden Library, at the intersection of College and East Washington streets.

Shuttle Service

CATS is a free shuttle service with stops across the Athens Campus. Daytime operation follows a loop with scheduled stops, while late night services are available on demand.
