Late-night swipe access to Alden Library

Beginning with the start of fall semester 2023,  access to Alden Library will be limited to Ohio University students, faculty, and staff via card swipe after 10:00pm.  To enter after 10:00 pm, visitors must use their OHIO ID card to swipe or tap to unlock building doors.

After 10 pm, all visitors will need their valid OHIO ID to remain in the building.  Visitors will be required to show their OHIO ID to library staff when requested.   

Alden Library remains open to the public during all operating hours prior to 10 PM.
