A Workshop for Authors: How to Write a Great Research Paper, Find the Right Journal, and Get Accepted
Deep in your research, and worried about the publishing end? So many of us are there with you. It’s a complex process, so let us break it down and answer your many questions.
University Libraries is partnering with Elsevier Publishers to offer two workshops about publishing for academics. Grad students, faculty and researchers will be interested in getting clear instruction on how to write, who to write for, where to send it, negotiating open publication, and how to how to promote your work.
Two 90-minute duplicate sessions will be held on April 2, 2020, at 9 AM and again at 1 PM via Microsoft Teams, streaming link is available on the registration page.
These workshops are “publisher agnostic.” they are not intended to promote Elsevier Publishers but are offered to “educate and give back to the research community.”
