Since I was the visiting professor 40 years ago I must admit the my memory (I am now 89 years old) of that time is poor but in searching through documents to help I found this small banner which I have pictured here. I made several of them, also tee shirts bearing the same logo. It expresses better than any essay the closeness of the relationship between Chubu and Ohio Universities. I am curious to know if any survived. I do recall having a wonderful experience and in the last few weeks my son Douglas joined me after his freshman year in college. Together we were escorted on many off-campus trips which he probably remembers better that I do. I am happy that our special relationship survives.
