CHSP Scholarships

Scholarship recipients recipients Kayla Slaughterback and Lauren Johnson with college and health department staff.
The James Ball Scholarship for Experiential Learning supports experiential learning through a partnership with the Athens City-County Health Department. Established by Erv and LuAnne Ball in honor of their son, James Ball, the scholarship is recognized for producing dedicated student leaders and strong community partnerships. The 2025 recipients are Kayla Slaughterback and Lauren Johnson.
