Gloria Matheny

Gloria Matheny joined the OHIO Business Service Center as an Employment Coordinator in August of 2023. In her role she assists departments with the recruitment, hiring and onboarding process for new employees. She began working for Ohio University in 2012 as an Administrative Services Associate in the Center for International Studies.   In 2014, she accepted the position of Administrative Specialist with the Office of Global Affairs.  After that, she joined the team at Facilities Management & Safety as an Executive Assistant.  

Prior to coming to Ohio University, she worked with Tri-County Adult Career Center as a Customized Office Specialist Training Coordinator and provided training on an assortment of software and office training topics tailored to companies or community needs.
 

Gloria is a lifelong resident of Athens County where she lives with her husband. Gloria enjoys spending time with her two adult children, her friends, and family.  Gloria is usually found enjoying the outdoors and loves spending time with her two dogs, (“Remi and Piper”) and horse, (“Corbin”).
