About the Symposium

The Health Equity Symposium aims to bring together health care professionals, students, academics and community leaders to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights and explore strategies for advancing health equity in our communities. This two-day event will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities, all focused on addressing disparities in healthcare access, outcomes and treatment for marginalized and underserved populations.

Goals of the Symposium

• Raise Awareness: Highlight the ongoing health disparities faced by underserved communities and explore innovative solutions to address them.
• Foster Collaboration: Create a platform for cross-sector collaboration between health care providers, policymakers, students and advocates.
• Promote Action: Equip attendees with tools, resources and actionable steps to drive change in their communities and professional practice.
