Our Mission
The purpose of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Club is to educate and expose medical students to the field and practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The objectives of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Club are for its members to acquire a better understanding of the skills, practices, and knowledge required to be a successful physiatrist; to gain valuable hands-on experience with procedures specific to PM&R; learn about the diverse multidisciplinary team required for successful rehabilitation.

Membership in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Club is open to all meeting the above criteria, irrespective of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.
The club hopes to have 1 volunteering event a semester.
Tentative Schedule for 2024-2025
Fall:
- Event to detail what PM&R is and introduce club officers.
- Event hosted from a PM&R physician to talk about their experience in the profession.
- Volunteering event.
- Fundraising event.
Spring:
- Event with a PM&R physician to talk about fellowships and potentially demonstrate a procedure.
- Volunteering event.
