Our Mission

To educate both our student and community populations on the therapeutic use of an active lifestyle; whole-food, plant-based diet; and other non-drug modalities to prevent, reverse and treat chronic disease.

The Heritage College Lifestyle Medicine Club is a student chapter of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. As such, our constitution will mirror that of the college to promote and cultivate a national community of dedicated trainee leaders, who strive to promote health, treat disease and innovate the practice of health care.

We help to maintain the school garden, which serves patients of Warrensville Heights. In addition, members of our club volunteer at healthy cooking classes held on a monthly basis at The Gathering Place, a nonprofit organization for patients affected by cancer. We will be scheduling interesting, informative presentations as well on various topics.

Tentative Schedule for 2024-2025

We maintain the community garden, volunteer at healthy cooking classes at the Gathering Place (an organization that aims to provide resources and community for cancer survivors), and plan to have other relevant informational events. This might include discussions with physicians, nutritionists, community resources, and more!
