Our Mission

The Student Osteopathic Internal Medicine Association (SOIMA-Cleveland) aims to provide members early exposure to the field of internal medicine as well as offer opportunities for students to explore and develop skills needed as an osteopathic internist.

Services Provided

This organization works to connect students with clinicians in Cleveland for mentorship and professional development. We aim to set up members for success in an internal medicine residency program by for providing opportunities in clinical skills workshops, networking events, and information sessions.

Tentative Schedule for 2024-2025

SOIMA-Cleveland plans to offer the following events:
   1. Cleveland Clinic IM Resident and Fellow Panel
   2. Clinical Skills Lab essential to daily practice as an osteopathic internist
   3. 1:1 Mentorship with osteopathic internists involved in ACOI
   4. "How to succeed in an IM rotation" lunch-and-learn
