Mission

Emergency Medicine Club is a group of Heritage College students, as well as supportive faculty and staff, who work to expose members to emergency medicine and related topics through a variety of lectures and laboratories. The organization's goals are to familiarize its members with emergency medicine and osteopathic medicine, encourage advancement in diagnostic skills, provide awareness to health and safety and contribute to the overall education of its members.

Services Provided

 The Emergency medicine club has participated in events such as Columbus Marathon Race Day, Ultrasound fest, Disaster Day, and Intubation clinics.

Tentative Schedule for 2024-2025

The Emergency Medicine Club has volunteered at the Columbus Marathon in medical tent in the fall, the club has also participated in ultrasound fest and Intubation clinic. The Emergency medicine club also hosts residents and residency directors to discuss the ins and outs of applying to Emergency. The biggest event for the Emergency medicine club is disaster day which is held in late spring. The Emergency medicine club is funded through club dues ($15 per member).
