Our Mission

The Anesthesiology Club serves to increase awareness of the spectrum of clinical practice in anesthesiology and encourage medical students to explore career opportunities within the field of anesthesiology. The group aims to provide opportunities for academic and practical exposure in the field. Additionally, we strive to help students build connections in the field through opportunities for interactions with current anesthesiology residents and attendings.

Services Provided                   

This organization aims to provide members with several opportunities to gain exposure to anesthesiology. We will provide opportunities to interact with professionals in this field and for medical students to learn technical skills inherent to the practice of anesthesiology through hands-on workshops.

Tentative Schedule for 2024-2025

  • Club member meeting
  • Guest speakers in the field of anesthesiology including local residents, fellows, and attendings
  • Clinical skills labs including intubation and airway management, vascular access, and ultrasound workshops
  • Presentations and discussions on topics pertaining to anesthesia, pain management, and critical care medicine
  • Networking opportunities for shadowing and/or anesthesia research
