Our Mission
As a student organization our main purpose is to broaden the interests of Dermatology as it relates to osteopathic medicine. Our aim is to hold informative lectures, discussions, and foster student involvement. This will help in achieving our goal of getting an increased awareness regarding normal and pathologic skin, hair and nail conditions concerning not only the specialty of dermatology but also in primary care as well as other specialties of medicine.

Services Provided
The Dermatology Club at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine serves the community, college, and osteopathic profession by promoting awareness and education about dermatologic conditions across medical disciplines. We partner with community-based dermatologists and local physicians to host informative lectures, mentorship opportunities, and hands-on discussions that enhance medical student education. The organization is committed to fostering student engagement through volunteerism and professional development. Philanthropic efforts include donations to local women's shelters and skin cancer awareness events . Through these initiatives, we aim to broaden student interest in dermatology while strengthening our connection to the local medical community.
