Our Mission
This club aims to help in refining your medical interests through exposure to a variety of specialties represented by our event speakers. Additionally, the wide range of clinical skills practiced throughout the course of your participation in SSM Club will be of great help during rotations, no matter what the area of medicine, as these skills are not taught in class during the first two years of medical school.

Services Provided
Volunteering at the Columbus Marathon, the Cap City Half Marathon, and the Arnold are typical community involvement events that the club participates in. We will have various "lunch time talks" and "evening talks" given by area physicians who practice in a number of surgical specialties, non-surgical sports medicine, anesthesia, and PM&R. There will be several skills labs that will cover suturing, ultrasound, joint injection, intubation, casting, and others.
