Heritage College Research Events
Health Scholars Research Symposium
The Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions, Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service host this annual event which features research posters by students, residents and postdoctoral fellows, an awards presentation, and a keynote speaker. The goal of this event is to bring awareness to the research being conducted by health scholars at OHIO that impact the state of health in Ohio and beyond.

A.J. van der Lely, MD, PhD, Chief and Professor of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine, Section of Endocrinology, Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, delivered the first Kopchick Distinguished Lecture “Are you addicted to sugar?” on June 12, 2019 at the The International Symposium on Growth Hormone and Metabolism held at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio.
