CDW-G Catalog Changes in BobcatBUY (BCB)

As of Monday May 1st 2023, the CDW-G punchout within the Bobcat Buy (“BCB”) system, has been upgraded with enhanced features. The CDW-G punchout, an online catalog for one of our preferred suppliers for computer hardware and electronic supplies contracted via the Intra-University Council Purchasing Group consortium, now includes:

  • Level II search capability: Level II search functionality allows you to search our punchout catalogs from the BCB homepage. CDW-G catalog items will appear in BCB homepage search. The search does include price, if you click on the “Add To Cart” link, the item will be added to the cart, and you will be able to complete the purchase requisition in BCB. If you want detailed information on the item, you can click the product description.

  • Confirmation tab: CDW-G purchase orders will display a “confirmation” tab that includes an estimated shipping date. The shipping date in the confirmation tab is static once the order is placed and is not updated afterward.

  • Shipments tab: CDW-G purchase orders will display a “shipments” tab will be updated with shipping notification information including date shipped, estimated delivery date, shipping carrier, and tracking number. This information will be dynamically updated as delivery information changes.

Shipping terms with CDW-G

CDW-G has two warehouses in Chicago, IL and Las Vegas, NV. Our contract provides the least expensive ground freight shipping at no cost to OU.  If quicker freight is required there is a cost, and you can obtain that by contacting our CDW-G Account Representative, Susan Pichotta, at phone (866) 339-5201 or via email at suep@cdwg.com.
