Preferred Supplier Spotlight: ODP
University-wide preferred suppliers are suppliers that have been awarded a contract with the University through a University public competitive bid or a bid conducted by a purchasing consortium. At present, Ohio University Procurement has established contracts with 82 university-wide preferred suppliers for various goods and services. Given these contracts were established by a competitive process, they can be utilized at any spend level without the need for a competitive event, making the procurement process a quick and easy with them.
ODP is one of our preferred suppliers for office supplies, writing instruments, filing supplies, planning and organization tools, and copy/print paper. They’re a U.S. company headquartered in Boca Raton, FL with local distribution centers in the southern Ohio region. The University utilizes the OMNIA Partners consortium contract with ODP, which expires December 31, 2023, but includes additional renewal options. This contract features:

Returns for ODP products can be initiated by anyone from the University by calling ODP customer service at 1-888-777-4044. Returns must be made within 90 days of the delivery date, unless otherwise indicated, and only if the items are in the original packaging, unused, undamaged, and in saleable condition. Returns for furniture, electronics, and software/games must be returned within 14 days of the delivery date, in original packaging, unused, undamaged, and in saleable condition. Please be aware, closing your purchase order in BCB does not guarantee cancellation of your order, so please be sure to reach out to ODP customer service for all order changes.
