Southwest Airlines Discount Program – Effective December 1, 2023

Because we have a travel management provider the University is now able to leverage the institutional travel spend to secure better discounts for university business travelers. While we have always had a discount program in place with Southwest Airlines, we have been able to secure better discount rates based on our usage data. As such, we are excited to announce the new Southwest Airlines discount agreement for the travel program effective December 1, 2023! 

The new agreement provides discount rates for flights originating from the Columbus, Ohio (CMH) airport based on the type of fare you purchase.

The new discount rates are for individual airline tickets only. To secure these discounted rates, travel must be booked through Concur or through the OHIO travel management company, Christopherson Business Travel (CBT). For more information, please see the Travel website.
