Specialty Shipping Services now available through eShipGlobal
Do you need to coordinate a shipment to or from an Ohio University campus or a shipment requiring special handling such as Haz-mat materials, freight shipping, or customs clearance for an international shipment? If so, Procurement Services has added a preferred supplier called eShipGlobal to provide specialty shipping services, which is through the University’s membership in the E&I sourcing cooperative.
Specialty shipping services available through eShipGlobal include:
- Temperature-controlled shipments
- Haz-mat cargo shipments
- Customs clearance
- LTL (less than truckload) freight shipments (e.g. packages exceeding parcel shipment weight and size constraints)
- Packaging, Crating, and Labeling for freight shipments

If you have a Specialty Shipping Service need, you may contact eShipGlobal at avasan@eshipglobal.com and anavarro@eshipglobal.com to receive a quote. If you decide to move forward with the service, submit the quote through a service agreement requisition and a purchase order will be issued. eShipGlobal will submit all invoices to accounts.payable@ohio.edu once the service is complete.
eShipGlobal is an additional shipping vendor, but the University still maintains preferred pricing on UPS and FedEx parcel shipments. Please see the Mail Services Shipping Resources page for additional details.
