Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning: Phase 1

Hall Information

Please use this guide for adjusting the temperature in Carr, Sowle, Tanaka, and Sowle Halls.

Temperature Guide

The set point range is between 70-75 degrees.

  • Tip 1

Adjust the temperature by using the up and down arrows.

  • Tip 2

You can only set the temperature within the 70 -75 degree range when using either the heat or air conditioning.

Regulating the Temperature of the Room

These halls are heated and cooled by a system that controls the whole building. You will see a thermostat on the wall of your room that can be seasonally adjusted. For example, during the summer months, you can adjust the temperature up or down, but you cannot turn on the heat. During the winter months, you can adjust the temperature up or down, but not turn on the air conditioning.
