The Office of Research and Grants offers bioinformatics support services for faculty, staff and students of the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Watermark Faculty Success (formerly Digital Measures)

Ohio University requires the use of Faculty Success as a mechanism to capture research and scholarly activities of faculty and staff in a central, accessible location. The Heritage College Office of Research and Grants uses this information for many required reports. As such, the Office of Research and Grants assists faculty and staff with this requirement by offering to enter CV data into Faculty Success on their behalf.

ORCiD iD Profile 

ORCiD iD provides a persistent digital identifier that you own and control and distinguishes you from every other researcher. You can connect your iD with your professional information – affiliations, grants, publications, peer review and more. You can use your iD to share your information with other systems, including Faculty Success by Watermark, ensuring you get recognition for all your contributions, saving you time and hassle and reducing the risk of errors. OHIO University Libraries has created a short educational video on ORCiD iD profiles and has many helpful resources available on their website (linked below). The Office of Research and Grants strongly encourages all faculty and staff to register for ORCiD iD and use your iD whenever possible.

Heritage College Office of Faculty Learning and Advancement Medical Education Research

Staff members within the Office of Faculty Learning and Advancement lead and support innovative medical education research initiatives, projects, and grants related to teaching effectiveness and student outcomes. They also provide and support resources and inclusive programs to assist faculty members in gaining, honing, or refining medical education research skills so all faculty members who want to engage in medical education research will feel confident to do so as educator-researchers.

Faculty are also encouraged to consider using SciENcv, a researcher profile system for all individuals who apply for, receive or are associated with research investments from federal agencies. This system allows easy formatting outputs for CV/Biosketches for different organizations such as NIH, NSF, etc.
